Jonathon “Jonny” Haskell is a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) who graduated from Western Michigan University (WMU) with a Master’s in OT in 2015. Jonny began his career in Colorado where he was able to combine his passion for skiing and working with pediatrics for 8 years, including an appearance in X-Games 2019 for Special Olympics. While in Colorado, Jonny began working at facilities focusing primarily on trauma-informed practices, where he became certified in Trust-Based Relational Intervention. Jonny also has a passion for primitive reflex integration and holds a trauma recovery certification in MNRI (Musgatova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration) as well as extensive, hands-on training with the Melillo Method including direct training with Dr. Robert Melillo, the founder of Brain Balance Centers. Jonny recently moved from Michigan where he was a professor at WMU while also providing outpatient OT services, coaching parents on co-regulation techniques, and working closely with providers, teachers, and other professionals in the SW Michigan region to serve children and adoptive/foster families. Jonny has been pursuing a post-professional doctorate degree in OT, and is planned to graduate Spring ‘26 from The University of Montana, where he will be completing research to promote enhancing the care of incarcerated adolescents in the juvenile justice system. Jonny hopes to have a large impact on our community by developing programs and resources to ensure high-quality care is delivered to children and families in the NE region of Georgia!
